PEG-MGF (Pegylated MGF) (5mg)

PEG-MGF is a modified version of the MGF peptide, consisting of the 24-amino-acid E-domain peptide from IGF-IEc covalently attached to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) moiety to significantly increase plasma stability by reducing renal clearance and masking immune detection. This pegylation prolongs its bioactive duration while retaining MGF’s core mechanisms as a local tissue repair factor that activates satellite cells in muscle, with MGF expression spiking up to 456% in injury models to promote proliferation and fusion into myotubes. It protects cardiomyocytes from hypoxia-induced apoptosis, promotes osteoblast proliferation via MAPK-Erk1/2 in bone repair, supports chondrocyte function in cartilage, and preserves cognitive function in neurodegeneration models.
