Adipotide (FTPP)

Adipotide is a proapoptotic peptide combining a prohibitin-targeting sequence with a mitochondrial disruptor. It selectively binds prohibitin on adipose tissue vasculature, causing targeted apoptosis of fat-supplying blood vessels. Initially researched for cancer, it shows potential in obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disorder studies.
